We love what we do!

Established in 2009, Vancouver Water Adventures started their humble beginnings with a fleet of only two jet skis and two ambitious young owners.

With a deep passion for Vancouver’s scenic landscape, unique waterways and natural history co-founders Brother and Sister set out to share their love of the outdoors with locals and tourists from around the world. Over the years the VWA family has expanded to include other tourism enthusiasts from various continents and a range of expertise. Get to know the team by reading their biographies below.

Fast forward to 2023 our fleet now includes 35 Jet Skis, 80 Paddle Boards, 60 Kayaks and three beautiful Tour Boats! We’ve expanded from rentals to tours, lessons and more!

Located in one of Canada’s top destinations for travel and outdoor adventure, we thrive on guiding our guests through navigating the beautiful shoreline of Vancouver – which is surrounded with beautiful mountains, lots of greenery, and tons of tours and sightseeing attractions for all ages. Whether you are experienced or inexperienced, a local or a visitor looking for a locals experience, we will help you find an activity best suited for you! Darren is a Dock Manager and one of our SUP instructors! He is from Donegal, Ireland. When he isn't at Vancouver Water Adventures he enjoys martial arts and gaming. He is also an Educational Assistant in Ireland and used used to be scared of water.

Simon is one of our Jet-Ski, SUP and Kayak Guides! He is from Vancouver, BC. Simon is fluent in Danish and has travelled to 22 countries. He is also a certified Ski and Snowboard instructor.

Rhiannon is one of our SUP instructors and Sea-Doo guides. She is from the small town of Victoria Harbour, Ontario and grew up playing on the waters of Georgian Bay. When she’s not on the water, you can find her on the mountains skiing/snowboarding or on festival grounds enjoying live music.

Dean is one of the Jet-Ski Guides and our main Sea-Doo maintenance man! He's from Cavan, Ireland, he has spent the last three summers at VWA enjoying the water sport life style. During the off-season, you’ll find him absolutely shredding a snowboard up the mountains.

Vanessa is one of our Kayak and SUP guides! She is from Burnaby, British Columbia and has lived in Australia as well. When she isn't being a guide here at Vancouver Water Adventures she studies Psychology with a Minor in Art at Trinity Western University. She has Cree, Caribbean, Italian, and Scottish heritage.

Chloe is one of our SUP and Kayak Guides! She is from Squamish, BC. Chloe is studying Outdoor Recreation at Capilano University. She used to mountain bike competitively and has travelled to the Bahamas.

Clayton has been leading outdoor excursions throughout British Columbia for more than 10+ years. Guiding tours and crafting experiences for his customers is one of his great passions in life. He's experienced in everything from White Water Rafting, to ATVing, Snowmobiling, Seadooing (of course), Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Hiking and leading Zodiac Tours. He is also a certified ski and snowboard instructor– essentially, if it's outside, he's done it. His favourite movie is "The man who knew too little", and he loves giving people a memorable experience.

Amber is one of our Boat, SUP, & Kayak Guides! She is from Vancouver and recently graduated from a Marine Sciences Degree. Amber was in the newspaper for winning a district-wide contest for being the most ecologically friendly elementary school student in Vancouver.

Justin is one of our Seadoo Guides! He is from London, Ontario and is currently studying at UBC. When he isn't at Vancouver Water Adventures you can find him exploring the mountains and backcountry forests of B.C. on skis in the winter or with a backpack in the summer. He is the captain of the cheerleading team at UBC and learned French on a three month exchange to Switzerland.

Fantastic Day in Vancouver

Jet skiing

Last week I did the jet ski tour with Andrew and Dave. The tour was amazing! Beautiful scenery everywhere you looked. Andrew and Dave were great at explaining everything and taking time to answer any questions. Super friendly! I would recommend the jet ski tour to everyone! Lindsay, Vancouver BC

Amazing day at sea!
